Government Issue

Green Beret is a band I hadn't heard until recently.  I saw a post on a message board by one of the members of the band/guy who runs Side Two Records about it, so I decided to check it out.  And I'm glad that I did.  After sampling two songs on Bandcamp I knew I had to jump on a color copy of their newest effort, Violence Is Their Currency.  The label description of this record nails it perfectly: "10 Tracks of Discharge meets Totalitar inspired hardcore. Building from the 2010 demo, Green Beret return a heavier and speedier band while still focusing on catchy songs and staying away from current noise core trappings. Essential for fans of hardcore."  Couldn't have put it better myself.
